The Role:

Division Introduction

Monetization & Workplace Technology (MWT) provides critical technology services and business intelligence to all Studio divisions. MWT brings together WBD's industry-leading technologists and disciplines to ensure global alignment with business strategy and accelerated delivery of innovative technology solutions Studio- and industry-wide.

From pre-production to archiving, MWT's vast portfolio provides foundational and future-focused services that help WBD to:
• Develop and leverage the technologies and systems needed to run the company, and produce content across all current and emerging media platforms
• Understand global audiences through big data and actionable insights
• Rapidly distribute content worldwide, to all consumer channels and for all devices
• Preserve the WBD legacy and 90+ years of some of the most valuable intellectual property in the world
• Provide information security and data privacy for WBD's business units and employees
• Empower employees through productivity tools and systems
• Engage consumers and partners with user friendly, intuitive apps and web destinations
• Drive change at WBD and in the industry through the development and implementation of new standards and technologies

Purpose of Position

MWT has recently deployed various Salesforce.com applications throughout the Home Entertainment business, and this is an opportunity to join the team responsible for the delivery and support of these applications. The team is the first point of contact for our users, providing both technical and functional support on a day to day basis, as well as working with the business to understand ways in which the applications could be improved.

Key Responsibilities
• Engage with our business partners to understand the key business processes and how the Salesforce applications can be used to help automate and streamline those processes
• Design and code solutions via salesforce to fulfil business requirements
• Take ownership of day-to-day Salesforce Administrator core activities, such as Sharing rules, creating objects and fields, building reports and workflows, etc.
• Work directly with our Salesforce support team to review, troubleshoot and understand how to prioritise issues based on business impact
• Work with our Salesforce project and enhancement teams to help document and test new functionality being delivered as part of our regular application releases
• Provide guidance to Salesforce apprentice

This role will require you to work directly with our business partners throughout Europe, Japan and the US. You will need to be comfortable and confident liaising with these customers by Zoom, telephone and email.

Skills/Abilities Required

For this role we are seeking a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn about our business and Salesforce applications, and work in a proactive manor to support the Technology team in our drive to constantly improve the service provided to the business.

The key skills required are:
• 2 years' experience as a Salesforce developer, with experience of Sales Cloud and Force.com
• Must be well organised and disciplined with the ability to prioritise workload and use time effectively
• Must be self-motivated and work with limited supervision, and able to manage a complex workload of multiple projects and customers  
• Must be able to communicate with people at all levels in a professional and mature manner, including both technical and non-technical colleagues
• Strong problem-solving, statistical and analytical skills 
• Knowledge of Cloud applications/platforms, relational databases and web technologies
• Knowledge of GitHub software versioning control

Desirable Skills/Abilities
• Experience in a DevOps environment, understanding best practice and how to work effectively to deliver business benefits
• A Level (or equivalent) qualification in Computing or a related subject
• Experience/Exposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Apex, Visualforce a definite advantage
• Flexibility to work across multiple time zones as required, and potentially travel on business
