Warner Bros. Discovery Sales Planner Position Description

Position Summary:

The Sales Planner will have a strong understanding of the advertising industry and will be able to work in a fast paced, constantly evolving team environment. The Sales Planner will assist the Account Executive in growing business by developing media proposals, managing delivery for accounts, assisting in client negotiations and generating ideas and concepts to help solve clients and coordinate with Account Management to execute internal goals

Key Responsibilities:
• Build and fully execute media plans across linear networks for their agency list assignments
• Compile advertiser pricing and spending history and work with Account Executive and the Revenue & Operations team to determine pricing & inventory strategy for media proposal
• Provide excellent customer service and develop relationships with agencies
• Assist AE's in negotiations and solution to agency requests
• Work with Agency and Revenue & Operations to ensure that stewardship of accounts are in order and on track to deliver in full, i.e. monitor performance of clients' schedules and prepare make good and ADU schedules.
• Communicate with and support convergent sales support team on shared accounts
• Compile and communicate account detail through options reporting, Posts/MSA's, liability, sales planning cover sheets, etc.
• Support AE in prospecting to expand Warner Bros. Discovery advertiser base
• Liaise with Revenue & Operations, Digital counterparts , Research, Commercial Operations/Clearance and Marketing as needed
• Support Assistants who handle client scheduling, billing, brand allocations, reconciling discrepancies, maintaining client files.
• Mentor new Sales Planners and Assistants. Act as a resource throughout their training and development

Requirements:
• 1+ years related advertising experience
• Strong computer experience (Google Doc/Microsoft Office: Excel, Powerpoint)
• Knowledge of the terminology in advertising sales
• Self motivated, driven and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to multitask, while staying organized and detail-oriented
• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills and have comfort with external and internal interfacing role
• Ability to meet deadline in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• BA in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent education and experience

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $50,400.00 - $93,600.00 salary per year. Salary Details
Salary Range: $50,400 to $93,600 Per Year ($ USD)
