Our highly experienced team of engineers utilize cutting-edge technology to build game services that are robust and scalable enough to support world-class developers such as NetherRealm Studios, Rocksteady, Monolith Productions, Warner Bros. Games Montréal, and more!WB Games Inc. seeks a Purchasing and Procurement Specialist for the WB Games NY Studio.
Some of the responsibilities of the Purchasing and Procurement Specialist will include working with the individual WB Game studios to initiate purchase requests for various hardware, software, technology licenses, etc., and coordinate budgets for each.
Your Role Accountabilities
• Experience supporting procurement in a large, distributed IT organization
• Purchase licenses, technology, hardware, and other assets on behalf of game studios
• Create, process and track purchase requests
• Improve purchase workflows, processes, and procedures to find efficiencies in our Purchase process.
• Monitor and track global license renewals.
• Work closely with vendors and stakeholders to achieve desired results.
• Collaborating with WBD Procurement organization to gain efficiency and support.
• Ensure WBIE meets compliance and audit requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
• Global procurement knowledge
• Understanding business needs and delivering against them
• Bachelor's or a mix of education and 7+ years' experience
• Analytic, strong problem-solving skills
• Strong decision-making capabilities
• Self-motivated and proactive, demonstrated follow-through skills
• Knowledge of financial management principles and product life cycles
• Experience with vendor management
