Position Description
As a Programmatic Account Manager, you will be a key driving force behind the execution of Warner Bros. Discovery's private marketplace (PMP) and programmatic guaranteed (PG) business. This includes working with sales on education and enablement, advertiser onboarding, delivery management, campaign optimization & reporting. You will also define and implement standards for PG and PMP workflow, including documentation and training for sales & operational teams. On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with sales, product, ad operations, analytics & yield teams, as well as with external partners. You will lead the team in technical platform education, proposing the most effective in market sales solutions. You will be an in market consultantant, providing out of the box programmatic PMP solutions. Your success will be measured by how you collect and translate marketplace needs and develop learnings from those insights into sales strategies & productized offerings that generate revenue. You'll also play a lead role in the packaging and rollout of PMP and PG offerings.
Responsibilities
• Programmatic sales strategy lead, providing AE sales support & guidance on PMP and PG offerings.
• In market programmatic expert, proposing out-of-box solutions to generate guaranteed programmatic revenue
• Define best practices & improved efficiencies between sales & operations teams, including streamlined communication & business policies.
• Partner with sales leads to drive the digital PMP strategy, formulating quarterly plans & reports to achieve goals.
• Attending pre sales meetings with clients to advise on ad stack solutions & architecture.
• Training members of the sales team on our strategic SSP offerings
• Manage key revenue targets and execution workflow for Warner Bros. Discovery's Programmatic business.
• Develop & document knowledge of strategic SSP platform capabilities and how they should be applied to drive value in WBD's private marketplace.
• High product knowledge & sales strategy surrounding header bidding, audience management, and video distribution channels.
• Oversee campaign launches and optimization of Programmatic deals, including setup, troubleshooting, and delivery.
• Ensuring Private Market health & revenue mitigation during ad stack evolutions, including SSP migrations & product rollouts
• Maintain expertise in continuously evolving programmatic space and to help educate other groups within WBD (sales, integrated marketing, product, operations, etc.)
• Identifying thought leadership & innovation opportunities to shine a light on WBD's programmatic advancement in market
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• 4+ years in media advertising
• 2+ years in digital programmatic advertising space, focused in operations
• Client facing communication & strategy experience is required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Expertise in digital media, strategy development, yield
• Critical knowledge in programmatic solution areas, such as supply path optimization tactics, IAB protocol, custom product executions, etc.
• Proven ability to drive sales strategy & enablement in commercial setting
• Demonstrated analytical skills, with ability to translate data / business insight for non-technical audience
• Proficiency in MS excel, Staq, Looker, DMP's such as Krux; ability to translate data analytics into actionable insights
• Demonstrated experience with publisher side ad technology, with deep knowledge of Google (GAM), FreeWheel, Magnite, and other SSP capabilities.
• Extensive exposure to programmatic deal types, technologies and deal setup
• Familiarity with ecosystem, including data collection, verification, viewability, real-time bidding, behavioral targeting, retargeting and cookie matching
