Producer, Domestic Newsgathering

Are you a storyteller? Do you want to be integral in delivering news as it happens to a global audience? If so, then this is your job. The Producer is a part of our frontline in domestic newsgathering, developing our key talent. We break news, tell stories and find stories in a fast-paced environment.
Your Role Accountabilities...
The Producer is responsible for generating and executing creative, original storytelling and helping to curate data driven segments.
They will work with CNN's Chief Data Analyst Harry Enten and will be responsible for piloting and producing original content for streaming platforms, as well as helping to oversee Harry's daily data focused linear segments.
They identify and develops story lines, set up shoots as well as shoot material themselves at times, and oversee edits.
Some travel may be required, and the producer must be ready to collaborate with editors, bookers, show producers and graphic artists.

Qualifications & Experience...
• At least 3-5 years hands on video producing experience.
• Basic knowledge of editing on premiere.
• Extensive all platform journalism background, able to produce distinct material for CNN across multiple platforms.
• Must possess great research and digging skills.
• Ability to multi-task, producer may be expected to assist with multiple projects during the same time period.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced news environment that is 24 hours/365 days a year, including occasional weekends.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $85,540.00 - $158,860.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
