Overview:
The Photo Operations Assistant is part of the Photo Operations EMEA team who fulfil
pan-regional image requirements for content priorities including; publicity, marketing, on-air
and Discovery+ platforms across EMEA. The Photo Operations Assistant is supports with the
processing of production stills, editing and processing images ready for distribution
internally and externally. As well as answering image requests from internal and external
clients. Working closely with the Assistant Photo Producer and Photo Producer roles
Responsibilities:
• Respond to internal and external image & artwork requests
• Assist with chasing in production stills
• Process production stills, making selections and editing
• Editing & adding metadata to images and artwork including image rights information
• Uploading images & artwork to internal databases for distribution
Qualifications:
• A strong attention to detail
• Experience with Photoshop and Mac applications
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good team player with a positive can-do attitude
• Good knowledge of image rights
• Experience in editing and selecting imagery
• Experience in using DAM systems
• Experience in an image role within a broadcaster preferred but not essential
