Purpose of the Role

The People & Culture Partner team is at the center of the P&C function. People Partners are connected to business units (BU) and work closely with the Leaders and the business to understand the BU's talent strategy, initiatives and/or challenges and then in partnership with the COEs, strategizes and activates solutions that deliver high impact.

This role will be the P&C lead for Warner Bros. Discovery's Global Business services center in India and will setup and manage a diverse portfolio of global functional teams.

To be successful in the role, the individual should love making a difference and play as a team member and/or coach to build winning businesses and highly energized teams. The individual should be able to lead and work as a trusted advisor to senior leaders in the business, leverage resources from the wider P&C ecosystem and inspire individuals to create a culture where every employee can do their best work.

Areas of Responsibility
• Drive the People & Culture strategy to meet the short-term and long-term needs of the business
• Lead setting up of Global business Services centre in Hyderabad by managing exceptional employee experiences through the employee lifecycle. Ensure our organization's treatment of employees is fair, respectful, and consistent with our business values and objectives. Proactively provide creative and engaging solutions to motivate employees at different career points.
• Use data to analyze casework trends to produce strategic, proactive recommendations to P&C and the Business to proactively address and mitigate systemic issues
• Partner in Harmonization of people programs, policies and practices to sustain a positive work environment for all employees
• Develop strong working relationships with the COEs to support the implementation of P&C programmes and initiatives
• Find ways for Managers/ Senior leaders to create meaningful connections with each other and their teams
• Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace and 'one company' mindset as a critical priority
• Develop an understanding of the financial drivers of each business area and demonstrates an interest in the external environment and competitors
• Work with global team to successfully set up the GBS centre and influence multiple stakeholders across functions to smoothly deliver on project expectations

Job Requirements
• Successful track record as HR Business Partner in progressive, fast-paced environment. Having worked in a global matrixed organization is really helpful
• Highly passionate about understanding & partnering with business with a genuine interest in people
• Ability to influence stakeholders independently
• Ability to work in an Ambiguous environment and apply good judgement to resolve problems
• Build collaborative relationships within People & Culture team internationally as well as business teams & individual employees in business
• Experience of setting up shared services
• Worked across ground up projects in setting up a new service/office/function
• Minimum 8 - 10 years of relevant working experience
