Job Description
WBD China is looking for a dynamic experienced (Senior) Sales Manager to join the China Advertising Sales team to drive the growth of the Advertising Sales business for China, based in Beijing.

This pivotal role works across markets and clients to pitch, close and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue and profitability while maintaining the integrity of the WBD brands. We are looking for an individual experienced in unlocking investments from top agencies and brand owners. Ad Sales deals range from standard multi-market spot buys to customized multi-market integrated solutions including content production, promotional activities, and spot buys. The China portfolio of products includes program blocks on national and regional channels as well as existing and to be launched digital products (short and long form content) to develop a broader product ecosystem.
Outstanding strategic sales skills and passion, drive and persistence to close complex deals which cover several markets is a must. In addition the ability to build strong relationships with advertisers and agencies alike and to collaborate internally with multiple stakeholders to deliver the optimal deal is key. Ability to unlock investments from existing clients as well as bring new clients to WBD in line with the overall business objectives and products strategy.

Client pitch phase:
• In partnership with the head of Advertising Sales BJ team and the products team, create the advertising strategy for the various products and platforms
• Qualify new prospects, gather requirement specifications, leverage WBD China capabilities and WBD Asia Pacific's suite of solutions and methodologies to structure, quote, propose, negotiate and close the sales
• Work in collaboration with the China team and the Products and Advertising teams in the headquarters and other markets to structure, sell and deliver the optimal deal in a seamless manner
• Participate actively in sales calls and pitch reviews, demonstrating excellent sales and closing skills
• Conduct impactful sales presentations and apply return on investment and total cost analysis to sales situations
• Sell advertising inventory (local and/or international) as part of multi-markets deals
• Sell multi-markets, cross-platform integrated media solutions to advertisers
• Up-sell and cross-sell to generate new business

Campaign/Deal fulfillment phase:
• Work closely with the China Client Services team and all other relevant departments to deliver the deal seamlessly
• Work with Commercial Operations and Distribution departments to ensure the execution of broadcasting commercial airtimes
• Work with Products departments to ensure the execution of original content production
• Work with Content Curation and Distribution departments to ensure the execution of broadcasting content
• Work with Audience Development to ensure all marketing materials are executed
• Work closely with relevant departments to monitor campaign progress and performance
On-going:
• Proactively establish new contacts; develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients/agencies/reps to grow the overall advertising sales business by managing and growing existing accounts
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Products and Advertising teams centrally and in other markets to share knowledge and leverage best practices, to offer clients truly international deals
• Work with Senior Management and Finance to develop regular forecasts
• Meet or exceed quantitative targets and qualitative objectives set by the head of sales

Requirements
• 5-10 years' sales experience with proven track record in generating revenue and bringing in new revenue stream
