Job Description
The Manager, Studio Partner Relations plays a vital role in supporting international licensing operations, with a primary focus on partner activities across Latin America (LatAm) and oversight in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and consistent execution of content licensing deals, while driving the successful onboarding of new clients and partners.
Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams-including Sales, Legal, Global Content Operations, and regional stakeholders-the Manager will develop delivery plans, monitor execution, proactively identify risks and dependencies, and provide regular updates to stakeholders. While the leadership team focuses on strategic planning and development, this Manager-level position emphasizes hands-on execution, partner communications, and day-to-day operational alignment.
This role is key to maintaining delivery timelines, managing volume efficiently, and providing top-tier service to partners in high-growth regions.
Your Role Accountabilities
Studio Partner Relations & Support
• Support the planning and execution of deliverables for international licensees, VOD operations, and ingest partner deals in LatAm and APAC.
• Establish timelines, define tasks, and prioritize work to ensure timely and accurate partner deliveries and content launches.
Project Coordination & Execution
• Manage daily workflows, project milestones, and key initiatives under the guidance of the Sr. Manager.
• Track progress, identify risks, and ensure seamless operational follow-through across licensing activities.
Operational Process Support
• Review and enhance content distribution workflows to drive consistency and accuracy.
• Ensure internal systems are up-to-date and compliant with policies and standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Global Content Operations, and regional teams to align on partner needs and delivery expectations.
Partner Onboarding & Relationship Management
• Oversee new partner onboarding by documenting requirements, managing intake workflows, and coordinating across teams.
• Maintain strong partner communication, track milestones, and escalate issues when necessary.
Reporting & Data Tracking
• Contribute to monthly reporting by tracking operational data and delivery metrics.
• Provide timely updates on status, risks, and dependencies to support strategic reporting efforts.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in content operations, media distribution, or a related role within the entertainment/media industry.
• 3+ years of managerial experience, overseeing teams, projects, and/or operational workflows.
• Proven track record managing high-volume content distribution in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Expertise in Content Management Systems (CMS), Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, and media distribution technologies.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with metadata standards and best practices for content accuracy and efficiency.
• Exceptional project management and strategic planning capabilities, with the ability to align execution with business goals.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and leverage insights for decision-making and process improvement.
• Experience preparing and delivering precise, insightful reports for stakeholders.
• Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese is a strong plus.
