The Job:
This role will be a key member of the International Reward Team supporting P&C in the management of employee Health & Wellness across International. Providing solutions and recommendations, to break down barriers when it comes to improving and maintaining good mental and physical health, as well as helping P&C with crisis support.
Providing knowledge and expertise to Total Rewards and Engagement to support in identifying opportunities to improve benefit plan design, wellbeing programs, and engagement campaigns, to meet the needs of employees and to support the business.
The Daily:
• Support P&C and their management teams, through designing, organizing, and developing health-related training, best practice guidance, resources, policies and materials (i.e., secondary trauma, mental health support, LTD training, and absence management guidelines and Occupational Health).
• Support P&C with Occupational Health, and other statutory medical provisions (health assessments and medical services) through advising on vendor management, including reviewing potential suppliers, their ongoing performance and general process and practices.
• Provide P&C with support on preventative employee care (critical incident, major incident, illness & injury), offering guidance and technical support working alongside other teams in Engagement, Security, Business Resilience, Travel and Security, and Health & Safety.
• Escalation point for Total Rewards and P&C for health-related crisis support and ad-hoc consultancy where P&C identify standardised Wellbeing provision are insufficient for their needs and Total Rewards need additional technical support to respond locally.
• Managing pan-regional health & wellness supplier relationships that require health expertise (i.e., EAP, Vaccination Program, etc) with support from the International TR Coordinator and Regional TR teams.
• Evaluating absence, medical, insurance, and related wellbeing metrics with the regional TR Teams and HR Operations, to identify opportunities and needs that should be addressed through plan design changes or specific P&C activities.
• Creating H&W related commitments (in conjunction with P&C, DEI, and Employee Engagement). Driving the creation and management of related policy and guidelines including non-benefit resources, and ongoing training and support. Working alongside Total Reward to obtain tools and services in support of policies. Partnering with Engagement on the rollout and engagement strategy.
• Bring to the attention of P&C, regional Total Rewards, and other stakeholders any relevant new legislation or best practices across Wellbeing and ensure the business is legally compliant with occupational health legislation.
• Identify trends and opportunities for the Comms & Engagement and P&C teams in support of the creation of wellbeing initiatives and programs.
• Align with, and contribute to, the Comms & Engagement team when there are 'crossover' activities and advise on specialist training needs for BRGs and the Activate Network (i.e., mental health training, menopause awareness, policy commitments, and any other H&W related topics, programmes, campaigns, and initiatives).
• Collaborating with Security, H&S, CSR, DE&I, P&C, Comms & Engagement, and the broader Global Benefits team on compliance or in support of any campaigns, programs, policies, events, and initiatives that promote Wellbeing in the workplace.
• Working with Risk, Facilities, H&S and Security to ensure appropriate policies and assessments are in place to mitigate health related claims and support employees in the workplace.
The Essentials:
• Organisation: Excellent planning and prioritisation skills with proven ability to work with autonomy, multi-task and self-prioritise as needed, with a willingness to adapt quickly and pivot where priorities change.
• Delivery: Strong organisational skills with the ability to see the bigger picture and while driving stakeholder needs efficiently.
• Knowledge: Previous experience in Health & Wellness, ideally in an international environment. Qualifications in Occupational Health or Counselling preferable.
• Communication: Strong communication skills that are clear and engaging, tailoring communication style effectively to your audience. Strong presentation skills – able to clearly communicate, tell the story and share data effectively.
• Stakeholder Management: Excellent relationship and customer service skills exhibiting a high level of tact, diplomacy, managing conflict, and influencing others.
• Collaboration: A global 'one team' mindset that fosters creativity in the team and to support collaborative working across the entire team with a willingness to both take a lead or support role as needed.
• Professionalism: Self-motivated and solution orientated, always displaying absolute discretion, best in class work, and working with confidentiality.
• Strong Microsoft excel, MS office skills, including PowerPoint.
• Strong presentation and critical thinking skills required.
• Ability to manage sensitive, confidential issues.
• Able to travel to Warner Bros Discovery offices as needed.
• Fluent in English
