Manager, Financial Planning Systems (EMEA/APAC)

As the PSG Manager of Financial Planning Systems for the EMEA/APAC regions, you will be a valued facilitator of the company's global EPM strategy and roadmap, manage related projects, support system implementation activities, and provide functional end-user support.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• System Support: Provide comprehensive power user support for Oracle EPM (PlanONE), including end-user training, documentation, QA, and power user testing. Develop system and business process flows and help to drive process improvements.
• Problem Solving: Act as the primary functional contact for issue escalations, liaising between Finance and Enterprise Tech to manage business process context, resolution expectations, and cross-functional communication. Assist in closing user-generated service tickets for supported applications. Address system and process issues, collaborating with stakeholders to provide timely solutions.
• Technical Expertise: Design and develop system configurations, hierarchies, allocations, calculations, input forms, queries, and financial reporting.
Offer deep technical and functional understanding of system structures.
• Project Leadership: Define and document business scope, functional and system requirements, and process changes for system enhancements and financial system-related projects. Lead PSG workstreams on projects and initiatives, ensuring that project objectives are met.
• User Acceptance Activities: Coordinate user acceptance testing, develop test scripts, assist with defect resolution management, and oversee new process training and documentation. Validate production migrations and communicate with users regarding system enhancements.
• Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure the successful implementation of financial systems projects and transformations of business processes.
• Compliance: Maintain financial system-defined controls documentation and assist with related audit and SOX compliance requests.
Qualifications & Experience…
• Education: BA/BS degree in MIS, Finance, or Accounting.
• Experience: 5+ years of financial systems support experience, preferably with Oracle EPM or similar financial planning systems.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting and forecasting principles, financial analysis and reporting, and financial/application controls.
• Skills: Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills. Effective communicator with the ability to influence and persuade across organizational levels. Fluent in English. Proficient in Excel and other Office applications.
• Abilities: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing tasks and deadlines. Familiarity in working with global/remote teams is a plus.
• Business Analysis: Experience translating business requirements into system solutions.
• Leadership: Ability to develop strategic plans, set clear goals, and deliver high-quality services. Strong problem resolution skills, integrity, tact, and diplomacy.
• Collaboration: Proven change agent with strong collaboration and organizational skills.
