Your New Role

Warner Bros. Discovery Mastering Department is seeking a Manager, Episodic Mastering. This position will manage mastering deliverables from production, post-production into the media supply chain for linear and streaming global distribution. Collaborate with Stations, Business units, Production companies, Content & Ad Sales to deliver scalable, reusable solutions that creatively solve business challenges and provide opportunities for worldwide sales.

Your Role Accountabilities
• Manage the creation, delivery, and production broadcast deliverables for newly created episodic content for liner and streaming operations.
• Recommend cloud-based Episodic workflow opportunities to expedite station affiliate broadcast delivery requirements.
• Manage linear and streaming workflow enhancements with an eye towards automation to manage 500+stations/affiliates.
• Manage creation of 4K materials across all forms of current episodic product types.
• Manage business supply chain operation meetings weekly and daily ownership of ensuring content delivers across 500+ markets.
• 24/7 Linear support for 1st Run Production and Terrestrial/Satellite distribution partners.
• Monitor Production daily delivery timing updates for to ensure assets are received, validated, and confirmed for broadcast. Manage appropriate escalations and troubleshoot issues to maintain deadlines and critical broadcast timings for Live and digital deliveries
• Mange creation & distribution of broadcast requirement guidelines for 500+ stations. Collaborate with production offices to ensure timely delivery of program materials supporting supply chain milestones.
• Project management of station/affiliate portal integration into Marketing application.
• Manage episodic mastering purchase orders to ensure accurately reflect allocated/forecasted spend.
• Manage scorecard data analysis to drive building integration data points into current season episodic mastering workstreams.
• Generate quarterly scorecards capturing rejection trends/solutions for content operations and vendor management feedback throughout episodic supply chain.

Qualifications & Experience
• 5-7 years of technical experience within Episodic Production & Quality Controls
• BA preferred.
• Strong vendor partnership experience for all phases of the content service cycle.
• Experience with Satellite, Terrestrial & Digital content deliveries
• Knowledge of Ad integration & Sales
• Ability to manage all aspects of broadcast linear delivery requirements, formulate broadcast technical support where required to meet day & date broadcast.
• Knowledge of 4K UHD and Dolby Standards and Services
• Familiarity with post production facilities, tools, workflows as well as Barter, Ad Sales, Broadcast, SVOD, TVOD, AVOD, SMPTE specifications and 4K HDR/SDR & UHD deliverables. Passionate customer advocate, workflow visionary and overall team player.
• Awareness to assess distribution pipeline health and execute organizational roadblock improvements.
• Ability to visualize and communicate both high level concepts and ideas, as well as tactical details for business stakeholders across all levels.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $68,883.00 - $127,926.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
