Manager, Ad-sales (Govt & Eurosport)

Job Purpose:

The role involves comprehensive business development efforts to secure advertising sales from State Tourism Boards, State DIPRs, government clients for pan-regional campaigns, PSU clients, and IPs on Eurosport within the West India region. This includes relationship building, customized proposal development, negotiation, and contract management.

Job Responsibilities:

State Tourism Boards:
• Develop and execute a robust business development strategy to secure advertising sales from State Tourism Boards in the West India region.
• Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers within State Tourism Boards.
• Customize advertising solutions to meet the specific needs and objectives of State Tourism Boards.
• Negotiate advertising deals and contracts with State Tourism Boards.

State DIPR (Department of Information and Public Relations):
• Implement an effective business development strategy to secure advertising sales from State DIPRs in West India.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key contacts within State DIPRs.
• Tailor advertising proposals to align with the requirements and goals of State DIPRs.
• Negotiate and finalize advertising agreements with State DIPRs.

Pan Regional Ad-sales from West State Government Clients:
• Focus on developing advertising sales for pan-regional campaigns from state government clients in the West India region.
• Collaborate with relevant government departments to identify advertising opportunities.
• Present pan-regional advertising solutions to government clients.
• Work on securing long-term partnerships with state government clients.

PSU (Public Sector Undertaking) Clients:
• Develop a comprehensive business development strategy to secure advertising sales from PSU clients in West India.
• Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in PSU organizations.
• Create and present advertising proposals tailored to the needs of PSU clients.
• Successfully negotiate advertising contracts with PSU clients.

Sales from Intellectual Properties (IPs) on Eurosport:
• Drive advertising sales from intellectual properties (IPs) on Eurosport to corporate and retail clients in the West India region.
• Identify potential corporate and retail clients interested in Eurosport advertising opportunities.
• Present and promote Eurosport's advertising offerings to these clients.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure successful execution of advertising campaigns on Eurosport.

Required Experience & Qualifications:
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA may be advantageous.
• Proven experience of 8-10 Years in advertising sales, business development, or a related field, preferably within the media or advertising industry.
• Demonstrated success in securing advertising deals and meeting revenue targets.
• Experience in working with government entities, state tourism boards, and public sector undertakings (PSUs) is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with advertising sales to corporate and retail clients is a plus.
• Deep understanding of the advertising and media industry, including knowledge of advertising formats, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Knowledge of the West India region's market dynamics and advertising landscape.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills to establish and maintain connections with key decision-makers in government bodies, PSUs, and corporate clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in sales techniques and negotiation strategies
• Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
