This position includes formally, substantive and legal checks of issues related to the payment of civil law contracts and related activities in order to identify problems. The Junior Analyst will also be responsible for investigating and responding to salary inquiries, supporting internal audits, and preparing materials for external and internal auditors. Your Role Accountabilities…
• Ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution for Polish and TVN entities. Providing payroll for civil law contractors. Validation and verification of salary calculations in order to ensure the correctness of co-workers' payments in accordance with internal regulations and in accordance with Polish labor law and tax regulations. Handling and preparing payments to co-workers and statutory third parties (ZUS, US, PFRON, PPK, etc.). Answering employee questions about compensation Preparation and accounting of payroll journals.
• Ensure compliance with payroll processing calendars for employees of TVN Group companies. Acting as a point of contact for payroll operations in Poland, co-workers' matters, benefits and inquiries related to payroll tools and processes. Resolve payroll inquiries from employees, agencies, and other internal/external entities.
• Compile, analyze, and document issues related to payroll and fiscal activities to identify systemic issues. Identify opportunities and contribute to continuous improvements in payroll procedures.
• Close cooperation with the legal, financial and human resources departments with the production and NEWS departments. Support internal audits in various payroll areas and prepare materials for external and internal auditors.
• Create statistics and reports regularly, including ad hoc conclusions and year-end reports. Perform data analysis by running reports and using Excel features (vertical search, index matching, pivot tables).
• Take part in testing payroll systems or process changes and improvements. Support other special projects if needed.
Qualifications and experience...
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience is required in the operations of calculating civil law contracts, supporting the Polish and/or EMEA markets while managing sensitive and confidential information. Knowledge of issues related to copyright knowledge.
• Education: Higher education.
• Language requirements: English, Polish.
• Relationship Management: Relational Skills. He has experience in building and maintaining effective collaborations. Recognized for reliability, honesty and credibility.
• Process management: Knowledge of payroll practices and civil law contracts (salaries, benefits, taxes, etc.) and statutory requirements in force in Poland is required,
Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
