Junior Camera Operator

Job Description

General Summary

To assist and support the studio camera operators with studio production responsibilities as set below.

Responsibilities:
• Studio Camera duties as required.
• OB camera duties as directed.
• Studio Floor Managing duties as directed.
• Assisting with studio set movements as required.
• Assist with Studio Sound duties as required.
• Practice the camera moves required for pre-arranged shots
• Be On Call for Pre Records / Breaking News when the shift requires it offsite.
• While On Call be 30 minutes to an hour away from actioning said duties.
• Be competent on all studio shows.
• Be competent on all studio equipment.
• Carry out other duties as required.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 Year in entry position and/or when experience surpasses the entry responsibilities.
• Be competent on main studio equipment.
• Takes direction
• Able to work well under pressure
• Patient
• Efficient and reliable
• Good communication
• Works well in a team environment and also by themselves
