This position provides administrative support to the SVP, Comedy Development & VP, Comedy Development, as well as playing a key role on the creative team, contributing ideas on material and identifying emerging comedic voices.
Your Role Accountabilities...
• Maintains calendar, schedules appointments, meetings and notes call, etc.
• Answers telephones, screens, logs and places calls.
• Maintains and organizes a filing system.
• Writes script coverage and tracks all submissions.
• Prepares documents such as deal memos, correspondence and expense reports. Proofreads, photocopies and distributes material.
• Opens, records and distributes incoming mail. Orders supplies, books, etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience...
Work Experience
• 2+ years of administrative assistant experience required.
• Familiarity with television industry required.
• Previous studio experience preferred.
• Literary agency experience preferred.
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
• Some college preferred.
Knowledge/Skills
• Typing: 55 wpm
• PC Skills: MS Word, Windows, and Excel required.
• Knowledge of file set-up, maintenance, and filing procedures.
• Knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage.
• Knowledge of report, letter, logs, etc. formats required.
• Must have exceptional grammar skills.

• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone.
• Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
• Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $42,224.00 - $78,416.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
