E-Commerce Business Development Manager - Warner Bros. Discovery (m/f/d)

Your New Role...

The role is a sales & business development role and is leading all E-Commerce activities of Warner Bros Consumer Products including developing, selling and executing Social and E-Commerce Plans and campaigns with 3rd party online retailers, omnichannel retailers, marketplaces and licensees' ecommerce business across all key categories with the aim to deliver increased traffic and revenue for Warner Bros. properties in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Develop and deploy a holistic E-Commerce Strategy including category only and cross-category business plans to grow Warner Bros presence and relevance on the Online and Social commerce channel across all licensed categories
• Establish as the internal E-Commerce champion observing international trends and adjusting/applying them to the GSA market including close collaboration with international Warner Bros Discovery peers and coaching of the local category teams to shape product offering by accounts
• Analyse pureplayers' and other e-retailers' performance including handling several complex external and internal data sources with the aim to create growth-oriented recommendations regarding target group, product offering and campaign priorities
• Build and maintain relationships with key online customers, lead activity plans and execution
• Deliver ecommerce annual sales growth and targets for key ecommerce customers, ensuring WB wins shares and visibility for the brands within top customers
• Work with key partners on data tracking (licensee, e-tailers), to create a full customer-funnel analytics tracker and recommend regular optimization.
• Onboard new high-potential retail customers either for distribution of existing products or for direct to retail deals
• Analyze and deliver social commerce campaigns/programs: set them up, track and optimize their performance, in order to deliver a healthy ROI.
• Create performance dashboards and provide commercial teams with actionable insights.
• Focus on all key categories to develop incremental business

Cross-divisional and licensees coordination:
• Engage, influence and collaborate with the internal local marketing, franchise and performance marketing teams to formulate customer specific digital toolboxes and brand activation plans for key commercial initiatives
• Collaborate with local offices of WB licensees and/or their distributors based in the territory to ensure the successful implementation of the online business development strategy
• Challenge local licensees and support the according Category Manager where needed to ensure that the expectations regarding e.g. product presentation, search optimization, online campaigns are met
• Work with key licensing partners to rally their support and funding on locked ecommerce/social commerce activations.
Operational responsibilities:
• Manage the trade marketing budget for dedicated accounts with the aim of maximizing its efficiency.
• Establish real time measure performance dashboards in order to measure efficiency and profitability of the actions implemented. Recommend subsequent strategies & action plan for each client.

Qualifications & Experience...
• Business Studies (BA, MA) with strong focus on sales and marketing is desirable
• Proven sales and account management experience with demonstrable results in e-commerce and/or social media
• Previous ecommerce/social commerce role in pureplay, online retail channel or marketplace preferred
• Experience at working with multifunctional teams both internally and externally to deliver results
• Strong ability to work with data, analyze and draw conclusions even based on limited data
• Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic, changing environment.
• Future thinking – outside in perspective, ability to think ahead and test and learn with new opportunities
• A strong communicator able to influence people at all levels within organisations
• Highly organized and able to multi-task and prioritise
