Your New Role...

This role leads the Strategy and Business Development function for Global Brands, Franchises and Experiences (GBE) group – including Consumer Products, Global Themed Entertainment and DC Publishing commercial businesses. Oversees strategic development process with a focus on accelerating business and global market share growth. Partners with operating teams and Sr. Leadership to execute slate of strategic initiatives that deliver high impact and unlock long term value. Acts as go-to strategic and business thought leader for organization.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Leads strategic development process with GBE Business Leads to identify, develop, and prioritize global growth strategies across commercial GBE businesses & key GBE commercial functions: Consumer Products, Themed Experiences, Publishing, and Franchise/Digital
• Collaborates with internal partners and commercial leads to drive focus, prioritization and planning in support of growth strategies across GBE
• Builds strong relationships with senior leadership to foster open communication and facilitate strategic discussions
• Conducts complex strategic analyses to drive strategic business decisions on new business initiatives and dealmaking considerations
• Develops insightful executive presentations that summarize key data, identify underlying trends, and ultimately result in actionable strategic recommendations
• Maintains advanced knowledge of industry and consumer trends and apply insights to craft recommendations on growth initiatives
• Develops and provides financial/business modelling and strategic decision support in evaluation of new business ventures and new property development opportunities
• Develops business case and justification for strategic initiatives including investment analyses, ROI, risks, and opportunities
• Establishes analytical framework for strategy development with Business Leads and align with operational calendar
• Collaborates with operations teams to define and create performance metrics and reporting to identify key critical metrics and growth drivers
• Drives development of strategic execution roadmap with Sr. Leadership, including alignment on business objectives, priorities, and KPIs
• Identifies impact and strategic plan changes necessary to update processes, interactions and resource investments, including systems requirements
• Develops project plan and timeline to implement strategy
• Updates stakeholders and Sr. Leadership on progress and any risks identified
• Responsible for the professional growth and development of team members
• Evolves team into a high-performing, value driven organization
• Handles other special projects as required

Qualifications & Experience...
• Minimum 7-10 years' experience in consulting, strategic planning, and business development
• MBA or comparable consulting firm experience required
• Experience with digital media and new media business models preferred
• Experience with Consumer Products, Media, Entertainment, Digital Commerce preferred
• BA/BS degree in Business or related field required
• MBA required (or in process)
• Very strong presentation skills required
• Very strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities - experience in developing complex financial models and evaluation analyses
• Experience with strategic and business planning
• Excellent at identifying and solving complex business problems
• Must possess strong leadership skills in order to influence action plans and new strategies to ensure that the Leadership Team works together effectively
• Experience with process and workflow studies
• Experience in analyzing detailed industry, company financial and business information, and summarizing into strategic perspective
• PC Skills: Strong PowerPoint, Excel & Word required
• Ability to lead and manage cross-functional and cross-divisional teams/workstreams
• Must have strong ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone
• Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions
• Must be self-starter with intellectual curiosity
• Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively
• Must have the ability to multi-task and work well under time constraints
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $126,350.00 - $234,650.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
