The Daily
• Create, Maintain, and Manage gameplay assets using Unreal Editor
• Works with the gameplay team to understand, iterate and prototype large gameplay systems
• Works closely with Engineering teams to understand available tools, structures and already existent systems to prototype as efficiently and efficiently as possible
• Collaborate closely with the design team to understand gameplay objectives and translate them into technical solutions
• Present design ideas, receive feedback, then adjust designs and metrics accordingly
• Own, drive and implement subsystem assets which contribute to larger gameplay
• Work in Miro, Confluence and other design communication tools
• Other duties may be assigned
The Essentials
• 5+ years of experience progressively complex industry experience within discipline
• A passion for gaming and game development
• Highly motivated self-starter and creative thinker with fresh ideas
• Undergraduate degree (in Game Design or Computer Science) or equivalent industry experience
• Experience with Unreal 4/5 (UE4/5)
• Excellent understanding of UE5 editor and asset creation
• At least basic understanding of C++/Software development structures
• Ability to prototype efficiently in a fast-paced development environment
• Ability to work in large international teams
• Remain current on console games and a knowledge of game mechanics across a variety of genres and platforms
• Proficient at giving and receiving feedback
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
• Experience with SQL
• Previously released game titles
