Your New Role...

The WBD UK & Ireland Marketing department constantly strives to create and maintain a best in class marketing function with an emphasis on lifetime value of WBD content. All leadership roles within the team are tasked with driving improved cross-divisional understanding, collaboration and expertise and in delivering an integrated approach to marketing content across windows.

The Customer Marketing function constantly strives to create and implement best in class, customer facing activities that maximise the value of WBD content at point of purchase.

All roles are targeted with optimising in-store space and display across the wide range of product, with this role having a specific focus on new releases & event titles, as well as catalogue product execution with a specific focus on Home Entertainment & Games physical formats across all relevant retail partners.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Develop and plan customer (trade accounts) specific UK and Eire strategies utilising all aspects of the sales and marketing mix for New Release, TV, Games, Universal & partner titles throughout NR window
• Plan and effectively execute catalogue trade planners across seasonal, promotional, drafting opportunities
• Identify incremental business opportunities to deliver WBD objectives within specific retailers.
• Co-ordinate and propose COOP investment to maximise payback and to improve the retail impact of Warner campaigns. Work closely with Marketing Managers and Sales Team to gain clear insight into ROI and opportunities to further leverage our spend to greater effect
• Demonstrate an in–depth understanding of in-store environment and specific retailer trading strategies for key account responsibilities. Offer insights and suggestions that add value to the consumer proposition. Ensure that when opportunities arise WBD is partner of choice
• Be the expert on retailer out of category opportunities and rate cards. Monitor and report customer compliance, competitor initiatives and market / customer trends
• Develop a customer relationship network that identifies key decision makers and makes WBD the preferred partner for retailer initiatives
• Play a high profile role in company team sell meetings with focus on execution of plans in the retail environment

Qualifications & Experience...
• Proven experience in a retail / customer marketing role, ideally gained within the entertainment sector
• High level of home entertainment product and industry knowledge
• Experience of working with a variety of retailers within the entertainment industry (grocery / specialists / e-commerce etc.)
• Experience of managing external agencies (POS / Merchandising)
• Clear understanding of P&L and ROI
• Displays a good understanding of sales drivers and retail dynamics
