Job Description
The Corporate Communications Manager will work closely with the Director, Corporate Communications to drive Warner Bros. Discovery's corporate brand, reputation and personality in the Australian market.

This role is fundamental in growing the reputation of this exciting business and its leaders, executing the Australian communications strategy in line with the changing, multi-faceted face of the organisation, with the objective of informing, educating and exciting external stakeholders about the current successes and future ambitions of Warner Bros. Discovery ANZ.

The merged Warner Bros. Discovery organisation has multiple lines of business across Australia and New Zealand including content production, consumer products, franchise, commercial partnerships, free-to-air and subscription TV, streaming and award winning news via Newshub. The Corporate Communications Manager will ensure our story is clear in the Australian market and our relationships are strong in areas that will support our growth.

While this role will predominantly focus on the Australian market, it will also support activity for the New Zealand business when required, offering variety and trans-Tasman experience to the successful candidate.

This role is based in Sydney and reports to the Director, Corporate Communications, Warner Bros. Discovery ANZ (based in Auckland; New Zealand) and will work closely with other functions across the ANZ business.

Key Responsibilities
• Contribute towards and execute annual corporate communications plans for the ANZ organisation, with specific focus on the Australian business / market, as instructed by Director, Corporate Communications, Discovery ANZ
• Proactively seek corporate positioning opportunities, including media engagement and speaking opportunities in the Australian market. Also provide support for New Zealand specific activity during times of need, as directed.
• Assist in driving internal engagement through the execution of internal communications across all teams and multiple lines of business throughout ANZ
• Develop and maintain key relationships with Australian media and industry bodies that are relevant to the above strategies
• Partner effectively with teams across all lines of business including but not limited to Marketing, Publicity, Content, Research, Commercial and Creative in ANZ and internationally.

Requirements
• A proven communications leader with extensive knowledge in media and strategy development, crisis and issues management and internal communications;
• Deep and trusted connections across the Australian media landscape;
• Independent thinker with a strategic mindset who can execute projects to the highest standard;
• Dynamic personality, adaptable with a high-degree of professionalism;
• Comfortable with a diverse workload and working in a fast-paced environment;
• Excellent interpersonal skills; a team player able to work with colleagues across multiple locations and timezones;
• Ability to travel internationally when required;
• Communications, Business or Marketing degree preferred
