Your New Role
Their main role is to consolidate and manage information related to the content offerings on the Warner Bros. Discovery streaming platform. This involves coordinating and executing the necessary processes for the creation and communication of a master calendar, in accordance with the editorial strategy defined by the Programming Director and the Head of Content Acquisition and Programming for Premium and Streaming. They assist in generating and planning an excellent content offering for the platform's users, aligned with the company's standards, business objectives, and market trends. The aim is to translate this into higher subscription rates, engagement, and other performance indicators to be defined.
Your Role Accountabilities
• Gathers, organizes, updates, and provides management with information about content from various sources, documenting it in data processing tools.
• Collects and documents information from other departments (Acquisitions, Original Production, Content Evaluation, Content Experience) and controls the data loaded into the system (Aleph, Deal, BeBanjo, among others), monitoring changes and updating corresponding records.
• Analyzes the catalog and prepares reports on the volume and composition of available content, according to the requirements and needs of the Programming department and other company areas, using data analysis tools (Excel, Power Bi).
• Assists management in planning the content offering and assembling the programming calendar for HBO MAX. This includes proposing and documenting programming decisions for the release of content on specific days, times, and territories, as well as its release cadence, and implementing windowing strategies defined between Streaming and linear networks.
• Defines localization requirements for each title, following the strategic guidelines defined by management.
• Monitors the progress of content through various processing stages.
• Communicates programming highlights, changes in content availability, and brand news on internal communication platforms and/or documents, for the use and planning of various company departments (Marketing, Creative Services, Editorial, Scheduling, Operations, etc.), including international content and strategic planning teams. To this end, creates documents in English using Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Gathers information on platform performance and competition updates regarding regional and pan-regional audience consumption habits and trends, including competitors' OTT platforms and other players in the entertainment industry. This information contributes to management's decision-making based on data and results.
• Collaborates with the Content Evaluation team by conducting analyses or providing feedback on potential developments or acquisitions under specific demand, according to evaluation criteria defined by management.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in media.
• Advanced level of English is required. Portuguese is a plus.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in content-related roles in TV or streaming platforms.
• General knowledge of trends in audiovisual content consumption and pop culture in general. Basic understanding of scriptwriting, production, and audiovisual narration is a plus.
• Proficiency in organizational, planning, and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Airtable, Monday, or similar).
