Your New Role…

The People & Culture Business Partner is responsible for providing a blend of strategic and tactical People & Culture support to attract, develop, engage and retain top talent within the Nordic region and more specifically for the Norwegian division. The People & Culture Business Partner also acts as a strategic Business Partner for selected business functions across Nordic in close cooperation with local P&C on the ground.
Our range of businesses includes a portfolio of linear, studio and streaming offerings including brands as TVNorge, Warner Bros Theatrical Distribution, Discovery+ and HBO MAX. Working with a diverse range of stakeholders and levels within the organization and across different legacy companies, the role help shape organizational culture and ensure a consistent HR delivery across all businesses. The position will be reporting to the VP of P&C in Nordics and will be Manager for an Advisor of P&C also located in Norway.

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Provide HR expertise and business partnering to all business areas in Norway and for selected Nordic business functions.
• Lead local HR processes and initiatives, including performance & talent management, compensation planning, staffing, training & development, reward & recognition and internal communications etc.
• Support managers with HR-expertise; providing advice, guidance, and tools to proactively manage their teams effectively.
• Contribute towards shaping the organizational WBD culture including focus areas of DE&I, employee engagement and wellbeing.
• Develop an understanding of the financial drivers of each business area and demonstrate an interest in the external environment and competitors.
• Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace and ''one Company'' mindset at a critical priority.
• Be the main point of contact for the local unions and employee representatives.
• Develop a strong working relationships with the Centers of Expertise (CoEs) to support the implementation of HR programmes and initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience…
• Prior experience of HR-business partnering in a global matrix, preferably from the media or entertainment industry or from a US owned Company.
• Well-versed in Norwegian labor law, with the ability to apply this to varying situations and scenarios.
• Excellent communication in Norwegian as well as in English.
• Preferably experience of working pan-Nordic.
