Your New Role:
The Business Operations Coordinator serves a critical function in the Operations department of the Production & Technical Operations division. This person assists in all business-related functions for the division, including tracking all expenses, accurate coding and timely payment of invoices, and facilitating the FL payroll process for Production.
*Must be able to work a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite) out of our Atlanta office.*
Your Role Accountabilities:
PAYROLL (50%)
• Processes payroll for 150+ Production Operations Studio and Remote Freelance crews by ensuring times worked and rates are correct.
• Ensures pay information is accurate and coded to the correct projects in MediaPulse.
• Troubleshoots and resolves payroll issues/questions from crew.
BUDGET & OPERATIONAL PROCESSES (40%)
• Works across all departments to code and track department operating expenses and partner expenses.
• Ensures invoices are accurately coded and approved, resolves all vendor billing issues.
• Issues POs where appropriate.
• Issues 3rd party invoices and tracks any revenue.
• Tracks partner vs. operating expenses for Production Operations.
• Ensures partner expenses are accurately entered and captured in MediaPulse reports.
FACILITY SCHEDULING TOOL (MEDIAPULSE) (10%)
• Assists the Business Operations team with MediaPulse administration, user issues and work order reconciliation.
Qualifications & Experiences:
• Experience with financial tracking.
• Ideal candidate will have experience with MS Excel.
• Able to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.
• Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
• Ability to function in fast-paced, high energy, agile organization
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Not Required but preferred experience:
• 2-3 years of work experience
• Knowledge of and passion for media and entertainment industry
• Familiarity with streaming and similar products/services
