Job Description
Booker (f/m/d)Primary Purpose of Job:
Distribution and Marketing of Warner Bros. releases for the purpose of theatrical and non-theatrical screenings in Germany
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Sales
• Sales support to Senior Key Account Manager with theatrical clients
• Managing and processing screening requests for a broad range of non-theatrical venues including universities, film clubs, museums etc.
• Key contact for licensing Warner titles at important film festivals, community run cinemas, mobile cinemas and outdoor screenings (excluding exhibitor-organized open airs)
• Licensing of clips and stills for local productions (TV broadcasts, schoolbook publisher and Press)
• Management and licensing of global live concert performance deals, specifically for local production companies. Involving clearing the rights and setting up a contract with the WB international legal department, supporting the licensee in terms of marketing materials and screening materials
• Management of back catalogue materials: liaison with international TechOps department to supply and create digital prints for theatrical exploitation (DCPs)
Contract management:
• Negotiating contracts and deal terms independently with new licensees
• Independent management of executed license agreements
• Supporting activity of Overseeing and monitoring licensee's reporting, ensuring that reports are delivered on time and accurately
Rights management:
• Collection and filing of information on available non-theatrical rights, updating title lists, providing availability information to clients
• Management of rights clearance for back catalogue titles, keeping theatrical department informed of all changes, expirations etc.
• Supporting activity at working closely with legal department to clear rights for local productions/acquisitions for the sale of rights in the transport sector (airlines, coaches, trains etc.)
Other duties as required
Required Qualifications/Work Experience:
• University degree (or similar by experience)
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to build and maintain good relationships with new and existing clients and licensees
• Motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills (written and oral)
• High level of service mindset
• good English in speaking and writing
• Very good computer Knowledge (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Access etc.)
