PHOTO OPERATIONS ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE
Position Summary:
The Photo Operations Assistant is part of the Photo Operations EMEA team who fulfil pan-regional image requirements for content priorities including; publicity, marketing, on-air and Max/Discovery+ platforms across EMEA. The Photo Operations Assistant supports with the processing of production stills, editing and processing images ready for distribution internally and externally. As well as answering image requests from internal and external clients. Working closely with the Photo Producer roles.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to internal and external image & artwork requests
- Assist with chasing in production stills
- Process production stills, making selections and editing
- Editing & adding metadata to images and artwork including image rights information
- Uploading images & artwork to internal databases for distribution.
Requirements:
A strong attention to detail.
Experience with Adobe Lightroom and Bridge and Mac applications.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good team player with a positive can-do attitude.
Good knowledge of image rights preferrable but not essential
Experience in editing and selecting imagery.
Experience in using DAM systems.
Experience in an image role within a broadcaster preferred but not essential.
