Job Description
The Recruitment Manager will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle recruitment process for Walt Disney Animation Studios. They will champion both the business and talent and will bring their leadership expertise to manage, streamline, and evolve our recruitment processes. Managing a team of 4 integrated talent acquisition Recruiters and 2 Recruitment Coordinators, this leader will assist in driving and executing the Studio's talent strategy, leverage data to drive decisions, inform partners, and optimize our work while managing and developing staff. They will also play a key role in data, metrics, and reporting for all WDAS Recruitment activity. The Manager will help guide the candidate and hiring leader journey to ensure we're delivering best-in class experiences. They will also support the development of key cross-segment relationships with TWDC Recruitment partners to support the hiring of roles that sit outside of the WDAS hiring team's deliverables.

The Manager will report to the Sr Manager, Recruitment & Talent Development and play an essential role in advancing a diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive hiring practice. In alignment with our talent acquisition vision, day-day activities will entail people management, strategic process and reporting development, partnership with Department Management, Training, and HR to support talent development and onboarding, and ensuring impeccable recruitment follow-through.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, optimize, and oversee end-to-end recruitment processes: job posting creation and strategy, applicant tracking, candidate sourcing, interviewing processes and training, candidate and hiring leader interactions and offer processes
• Manage, coach, develop, support, and inspire an integrated team of recruiters and coordinators and promote a culture of inclusivity and engagement
• Promote shared objectives and best practice sharing, team collaboration and group problem solving within the recruiting team
• Partner successfully with Studio leadership, hiring managers, and recruiters to proactively identify hiring needs for respective functions
• Ownership of requisition management, recruitment metrics and reporting
• Oversee hiring road map and workflow; provide insights and recommendations based on recruitment metrics and patterns, identify and define best practices relative to hiring for different areas of the studio
• Create and provide an excellent and consistent candidate experience
• In collaboration with Talent Development, University Relations and Outreach, ensure workforce diversity, talent pipelining, next generation and critical needs are proactively prioritized and aligned to create a consistent and inclusive hiring and brand experience
• Drive recruitment strategy for networking and social media connection to top talent
• Consultative on industry trends including competitive intelligence. Remain current on competitor developments and talent trends; develop hiring strategies and processes accordingly
• Stay current on labor legislation and trends; review and upgrade recruitment policies and processes as needed
• Directly oversee Recruitment for specific teams/roles

Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience leading/managing a team with 5 -7 years of experience in a recruiting environment
• Experience creating and executing innovative sourcing and recruiting strategies
• Expertise in coaching, developing and maximizing team capabilities
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with leaders and peers within the organization both within and across geographical markets
• Strong consultative and partnering skills
• Excellent written, verbal, analytical and presentation skills
• High degree of integrity and honesty; demonstrated ability to exercise confidentiality and neutrality in complex and sensitive situations
• Highly organized and disciplined self-starter
• Remains grounded under pressure
• Knowledge of computer graphics, animation, and/or production processes preferred
• Experience in the entertainment field or a related field is a plus

Required Education:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
