Job Summary/Description:

WAFF-48 is looking for a highly qualified candidate to become a Sales Manager with both Local & Digital sales management responsibilities. The ideal candidate has a solid track record of successfully creating new local direct revenue through both television broadcast & digital solutions. We are looking for an experienced leader who loves building, coaching & mentoring a team of sales professionals and assistants and will lead by example in developing & growing a network of relationships within the community.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Ensure the station achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual digital revenue goals.
- Accurately forecast sales revenue for your team.
- Communicate goals and expectations clearly, hold staff accountable for those goals & expectations, and provide resources & guidance to help staff meet goals & expectations.
- Must manage multiple tasks and deadlines at one time.
- Take initiative to recognize a need and come up with a solution without being asked.
- Working on a team and being a resource for team members.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Has experience leading and managing a team that is performance-based – or – experience working on a performance-based team as a top performer.
- Forward thinker, ability to create and present advertising strategies and ideas for local businesses incorporating TV, online, and digital mediums.
- Assist in development of pricing packaging to fulfill the needs of both client and station.
- Work in collaboration with sales management to foster & promote a positive, successful culture.
- Passion for recruiting, coaching, training, and developing multi-platform sellers.
- Maintain effective internal systems and processes to ensure the development of new and existing accounts and to help keep AEs accountable & on track to achieve/exceed revenue goals.
- Cultivate & maintain excellent agency and direct relationships with existing & new clients.
- Possess emphatic levels of customer service with the goal of exceeding clients' expectations.
- Strong understanding of marketing, promotions, sponsorships, community outreach programs & advertising with an emphasis on creating strategies that grow revenue & support local businesses.
- Interface with operational systems such as Wide Orbit, Matrix, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
