Job Summary/Description:
WAFF needs an engaging anchor that viewers want to tune in to every day. Huntsville is the largest city in Alabama. It was recently ranked #1 place to live in the United States by US News & World Report.
Be a leader in the newsroom. This job is not just about ''anchoring''. It's about helping producers finesse copy and guiding reporters with their story development and execution. Ability to contribute content for our digital platforms. Occasional community appearances.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field.
* Several years of anchor/reporter experience are required.
* Social media proficiency is a must.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Strong writing skills (broadcast & print)
