Job Summary/Description:
WAFF is looking for an aggressive and experienced reporter to work on investigative stories. Candidate must develop sources and break stories. Investigative reporter must be hungry to break stories with a focus on government waste, fraud, and how our tax money is being spent.
Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
• Turn investigative stories regularly along with TSR's (Targeted Special Reports).
• Will be used in the daily mix especially for lead-story coverage.
• Will have a photographer occasionally, but will be expected to know how to shoot video and edit.
• Also occasional fill-in anchor work based on scheduling.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• At least 2 years of reporting experience with proven investigative work on their reel.
• Strong story-teller.
• Active and engaging live presence for television and OTT.
• Able to shoot and edit video.
