General Summary:

The Security Analyst is responsible for establishing and maintaining a secure technical environment for our employees and our customers. This includes, but is not limited to network security, identity management, employee education, and policy enforcement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and work closely with technology teams to secure applications and infrastructure.

  • Develop policies, standard operating procedures, and security reference architectures.

  • Lead various security certification efforts.

  • Work closely with the IT teams to harden on-prem and cloud environments.

  • Monitor and maintain firewalls and remote access infrastructure to ensure a secure perimeter.

  • Support efforts to build and maintain secure network environments, including identity management, data protection, and endpoint security.

  • Monitor key security systems and report on metrics such as warnings and alerts.

  • Manage vulnerability scans and coordinate 3rd party penetration tests.

  • Educate the various teams on information security standards, policies, and best practices.

  • Respond to any security incidents that may occur.

  • Ensure the company’s security policies and procedures are in alignment with industry best practices.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned or related to position.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Security Analyst or similar IT security role.

  • Familiarity with identity providers such as Azure AD and Okta.

  • Familiarity with MPA, NIST,ENISA,and other security frameworks.

  • Experience with Microsoft Intune preferred.

  • Experience with AWS security concepts preferred.

  • Experience with Zero Trust concepts and architecture preferred.

  • Experience with physical access control systems such as HID preferred.

  • Experience with Windows Active Directorypreferred.

  • Track record of technical excellence with a willingness and ability to take part in developing business opportunities.

  • Experience with organizing and managing multiple priorities.

  • Strong ability to work unsupervised and at a fast pace.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

Hours of Work

  • This is a daytime position with an average of 40 hours per week between 9:00-18:00,but some out-of-hours work and travel should be expected. This is a hybrid / onsite role.
