Job Description

We currently have a position open for a Remediation Coordinator located in Burbank, California.

Candidates must be self-motivated, with superior work ethic and ability to work to strict delivery deadlines, with minimal direct supervision. Must have the ability to review and understand technical specs as they pertain to the creation of and delivery to digital distribution platforms.

Position Overview

The Remediation Coordinator owns the end-to-end remediation efforts across all internal or external rejections. This position will be responsible for reacting swiftly and keeping all pending investigations progressing towards a timely resolution as well as maintaining metrics data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand workflow and source requirements across all deliverable formats
  • Understand client SLA’s as needed
  • Communicate with respective internal customer service and operations teams part of investigation and remediation process
  • Have high proficiency in all necessary systems to investigate and remediate as necessary:
  • Develop proficiency in raising Media Orders in Media Pulse in a timely manner
  • Must have ability to problem solve and think independently when researching how to remediate
  • Provide detailed reporting on history and circumstances of a particular issue and summarize concisely for management team
  • Must have a high degree of accountability and sense of urgency in completing daily tasks as timing is critical to the success of this position
  • Assist with compiling metrics and KPIs as it relates to rejection tracking
  • Uphold strong relationship with operations in Burbank, London, Bangalore and with worldwide Language Team
  • Auditing of processes to ensure they are providing the benefits that were anticipated
  • Resolve issues either technical or deadline related, and collaborate with operational departments and client services, towards a timely resolution
  • Maintain an awareness of Visual Data’s client’s core challenges and internal deadlines and build

           proactive and collaborative relationships

  • Engage in on-going training
  • Operation of various asset and workflow management tools
  • Represent and uphold all department policies and procedures and maintain an exceptional level of service for our customers
  • Undertake additional department duties as required


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 1+ years of post-production or media distribution experience, QC or Project Management/Coordination experience preferred
  •  Results oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and both written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasker, with experience with organizing and managing multiple priorities, while retaining comprehensive knowledge of multiple work flows
  • Strong ability to follow direction, work unsupervised, at a fast pace in a calm and collected manner
  • Ability to troubleshoot and act as a critical thinker
  • Working knowledge of frame rates, aspect ratios, file types, video and audio anomalies a plus
  • Understanding of technical workflows is a plus


Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Knowledge of television production equipment and software is required
  • Knowledge of studio-based production and post production techniques required
  • Positive, collaborative and unselfish interpersonal skills with strong verbal, written communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey request candidates to editors, graphic and audio designers, talent, etc., are required
  • Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
  •  Willing and able to learn, understand, and grow with the business
  • Team-oriented in a highly collaborative environment
