An international media company that captures people at the heart of stories, and focuses on the ideas, issues, and context that other outlets miss. Launched in 1994, VICE operates in 35 cities across the globe, making 1500 pieces of content every day with a focus on five lines of business: VICE Digital, an award-winning international network of digital content; VICE STUDIOS, a feature film and television production studio; VICE TV, an Emmy-winning international television network; a Peabody award-winning NEWS division; and VIRTUE, a global, full-service creative agency with 21 offices around the world.

VICE x Team

The Programming Strategy team for VICE TV is responsible for determining when and where our content airs across all platforms. This includes the day to day scheduling of the linear channel as well as creating schedules for all of our digital distribution platforms including vicetv.com, the VICE TV app, and our VICE FAST channels. We work closely with all departments within the network to implement the schedule including but not limited to development, production, post production, marketing and design. We thrive in self sufficiency and personal ownership over the work. We are extremely detailed focused and highly adaptive constant changes to the schedule and the network. The team atmosphere is highly creative, collaborative, and fast paced. We hope you are as well, it's nice when we all like some of the same things.

Role x You

You are a passionate about television and looking to join our fast-paced, detail oriented team.

In the short term you'll participate in overall schedule strategy conversations for both linear and multiplatform distribution. Reporting to VP of Programming Strategy & Acquisitions you'll maintain the schedule for our FAST channels keeping track of refresh obligations and new content requirements.

But after 6 months in this role we see you making strategic decisions in regards to the scheduling of the FAST channels. Supporting the operations team in generating the logs for the FAST channel, ensuring the schedule is timed out correctly with promos placed to fill time. Supporting our linear channel on-air promotions scheduler.

And after a year you'll oversee additional FAST channel rollouts as the company continues to grow in the space.

You have these:
• A deep passion for television
• Experience handling large amounts of data where attention to detail is paramount
• Experience adapting and working in a fast-paced environment
• A collaborative and team-oriented sensibility, who wants to develop their already sharp strategic thinking skills

We'd love if you also had these:
