Digital Billing Associate

Job Description

Role x You:
Vice Media Group seeks a motivated, experienced Digital Billing Associate to join our North American controllership team. This position will support the Manager, Account Receivable – NA and include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of the sales and billing process.

In the short term…
• Will be trained and accustomed with the digital billing process with a focus on all necessary tools such as Salesforce, Asana, and NetSuite
• Will be trained and familiarized with the Campaign Management and Ad Ops teams month end processes to understand how the digital billing process requires collaboration
• Will transition to own the billing for digital sales activity and do so in a timely manner

After 6 months in this role...
• Begin to gain confidence and form working relationships with all necessary departments such as Campaign management, Ad Ops, Media Strategy, and Global Revenue Operations
• Work on reconciling billing for all digital campaigns for digital ad sales/production components
• Begin to assist Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist in maintaining and attending to all inquiries in relation to digital ad sales
• Be able to assist Global Revenue Operations team in any inquiries in relation to billing campaigns
• Maintain accounts receivable files and records in relation to digital ad sales
• And after a year…
• Gain tremendous knowledge and ability to execute the digital ad sales activity and processes, always looking for new ways to improve
• Be able to attend to all inquiries in relation to digital ad sales with minimal to no supervision
• Be confident in all aspects of digital ad sales and be comfortable working with any department acting as the expert for digital billing
• Be able to incorporate the reconciliation of all digital campaigns with ease
• Continue to grow within role and work on various projects in relation to digital ad sales provided by leadership

Responsibilities:
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, and recording accounts receivables' data
• Prepare, verify, and process invoices for digital ad sales & services rendered
• Work with the Campaign management and Ad Ops teams to ensure all digital ad sales activity is locked and accounted for billing
• Assist with reconciling the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all digital invoices are accounted for
• Verify discrepancies and resolve clients billing issues in partnership with Campaign Management pertaining to Digital
• Maintain accounts receivable files and records

You have these:
• 3+ years of customer & digital billing experience required
• Media industry experience required
• Experience using NetSuite and/or Salesforce required
• Experience using Boostr, Asana & Yacht preferred
• Must have experience using cloud-based ERP system
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
• Creative, self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency
• Problem solving skills

The salary range is subject to change and may be amended in the future. Experience, education, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered.

Pay Range Details:

New York/California: 60,000 - 70,000 USD
