This role is in the Media Operations team which falls under the digital line of business. The Media Strategy team is responsible for developing media strategies for campaigns working closely with a wider dedicated commercial team.

Role x You

We are looking for an innovative, forward thinking and passionate Associate Director, Media Strategy to lead an exceptional team in the UK. The candidate assuming this role would set the vision for the team's key goals across the financial year and lead digital media solutions for top tier clients while ensuring smart and successful delivery of their campaign objectives.

You will define and facilitate cross-market processes and help establish a strong relationship between the media strategy team and other commercial teams. You will guide toolkits, rates cards, product structuring and advise optimal use of our O&O channels and platform presence. You will be a mentor to direct and dotted line reports and help with the identification and growth of the next generation of leaders at VMG.

You will report into the Media Director for Europe and adopt a seamless working relationship with the campaign management, reporting and ad operation teams.

Qualifications
• You will have 5+ years of experience working as a media planner or media strategist with an established track record of planning and execution of large scale campaigns that prove your innovative thinking and solutions driven approach.
• Experience in managing people and helping pave the way for their growth and development.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of the current media landscape
• Passionate about achieving commercial goals by helping existing sales, strategist, creatives win pitches
• Experience in managing and strengthening client relationships by fostering a culture of client empathy and delivering best in class service
