DESCRIPTION:

ViacomCBS TECH is continuing to align our employee technology teams to amplify our focus on end user experience and unify the support model for many of ViacomCBS's end user and enterprise applications. This new role will be responsible for the end to end application experiences of all of ViacomCBS's diverse end users.

These responsibilities include:
• Developing ViacomCBS user personas and associated recommended product standards
• Creating standards around Technology Training and Communication
• Align with senior business leadership to make align the Collaboration tools to align with support simplifying and streamlining business processes
• Product leadership and roadmap management for all employee related technology
• Partner with our key vendors to align technical roadmaps with our business roadmaps
• Gathering and acting on usage data and user feedback on products

ViacomCBS TECH is seeking a groundbreaking leader to build and scale this team, drive ViacomCBS's end user strategy and effectively operate our applications.

Working with the EVP, Enterprise Solutions and Technology, the Vice President, End User Technologies and Applications will manage ViacomCBS's end user experience, application support, application deployment and software development teams to advance the strategy of our end user applications and employee-facing corporate systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Set and action end user application strategy across ViacomCBS

Establish, manage and provide technical and strategic leadership to the following teams:
• End user experience team responsible for selecting and onboarding end user products
• Application deployment team - responsible for packaging and deploying software to our users
• Application support team(s) - responsible for tier 2 end user application support
• Software development team(s) - responsible for improvement and operation of end user facing enterprise applications

Set direction on application selection, onboarding, operations and reporting

Provide product leadership and roadmap management for key enterprise applications and products with diverse partners and consumers

Proactively identify future needs for technology products and partnerships in conjunction with business and technology associates

Provide operational oversight of application support functions

Act as the senior point of escalation for application-related issues and project activities

Lead all aspects and handle a portfolio of strategic application-related projects

Foster collaboration between technology teams and partner with other key technology functions in the onboarding and support of applications, including:
• Collaborating with our Technology Training Team to coordinate the delivery of application training
• Partnering with our Service Desk and Desktop Support teams to provide Tier 1 support documentation and guidance

Maintain support and product roadmap relationships with application vendors and manage and communicate upgrades and updates

Develop and maintain positive relationships with business and technology partners throughout the corporation

Develop annual strategy, budgets, work plans, and project schedules in partnership with business and technology stakeholders

Manage the development of policies, procedures, assurance mechanisms and metrics to meet any business-specific compliance requirements of ViacomCBS business units

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with a minimum of ten years of related post-graduate work experience
• A successful track record in developing and nurturing internal and external partnerships
• A history of building and guiding robust technology teams
• Experience managing support, operational and software development teams for a diverse range of critical and/or highly visible applications, including CMSs, end user products, SaaS and web applications
• Experience in implementing and leading software development teams using Agile methodologies
• Demonstrated product leadership in large-scale enterprise applications
• Ability to quickly master technical as well as functional complexities & nuances of diverse applications & technologies
• Experience in building and managing within controls / compliance environments
• Ability and a strong desire to provide extraordinary in-person and remote support to our user base across our offices
• Ability to work as a member of a team, lead specialists, handle all aspects of projects and provide consultancy & support to business customers
• Decisiveness, good judgment, good organization skills, project management skills, good technical knowledge, excellent oral and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills
