We're looking for a strong performing assistant who will provide administrative support to multiple legal executives on the Production Content Review team within the Business and Legal Affairs Department at ViacomCBS Media Networks.
Our team provides legal counsel to 12+ brands (including BET, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, MTV, Paramount Network Paramount+, et al) regarding issues including intellectual property, defamation, privacy, and right of publicity for programming across multiple platforms including linear TV, digital, streaming and social. The team also handles related claims and a variety of pre-litigation matters. Here's where our ideal candidate will fit in all of this:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Maintain calendars and schedules, including scheduling and coordinating internal and external meetings, conference calls and other business appointments
• Field incoming phone calls
• Draft letters and correspondence (including blacklining, etc.)
• Perform legal administrative tasks including Bluebooking
• Handle expense reports and travel arrangements
• Build and maintain well organized digital filing systems
• Maintain and update contact information
• PDF and photocopy documents

Basic Qualifications
• 2+ years' experience in a legal or administrative assistant capacity
• High proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Tech-savvy
• Familiarity and experience with Adobe Acrobat
• Experience administering accounts on digital platforms, including social media
• Background or active interest in the legal aspects of ViacomCBS Media Network's core business, including entertainment law
• Excellent proofreading skills
• Ability to manage phone calls expertly and efficiently
• Excellent communication skills
