Job Description
The Special Projects role is a new, and critical role, on the Executive Leadership team, that will provide support to the dynamic, and ever evolving eCommerce & Label Services division of UMG.

The Special Projects role will report directly to the EVP, Head of US eCommerce and Fame House, and will serve as his key partner to ensure that business priorities, Company initiatives, and executive level projects are well-managed and brought to successful execution, within the division.

The Special Projects role will collaborate closely with the EVP's Executive Leadership team, liaise with key UMG stakeholders outside of the eCommerce & Label Services division, as well as external partners as needed.

The Special Projects role will also be expected to identify business/organizational trends and suggest solutions and efficiencies in order to assist the EVP with achieving the division's strategic goals.

How you'll LEAD:

Business Objectives and Strategic Initiatives
• Create roadmap for business objectives and related strategic initiatives, in partnership with the EVP
• Ensure the business objectives and related strategic initiatives are moving forward as successfully as possible

Meeting Planning and Management
• Set weekly meeting agenda in partnership with the EVP AND Executive Leadership Team
• Ensure the agenda addresses the follow ups requested by the EVP
• Participate in internal meetings with Leadership Team & VP's
• Capture all additional tasks and components of the project discussed in the meeting
• Track follow up deliverables requested by EVP in the meeting and ensure they are completed by key stakeholders

​ How you'll CREATE:

Priority Initiatives
• Identify key stakeholders
• Provide oversight of initiative progress and lead driving the initiatives forward
• Provide weekly updates on priority initiatives for the year
• Circulate key deliverables and progress reports to EVP and Executive Leadership of the Global eCommerce division
• Provide visibility on progress achieved on priorities, working with respective executive leadership and project teams and synthesizing highlights for executive consumption

EVP Stand-in
• Participate in, and represent the EVP in meetings that he is unable to attend
• Relay information requested by EVP and track departments responses, requests & updates
• Take notes on their agenda: Problems, Priorities and their KPI's
• Make an assessment if EVP needs to personally join the next meeting moving forward
• Liaise with key stakeholders and partners (i.e. Label Leadership) to ensure projects continue to move forward and ensure key decisions get made and conveyed to those involved

Project Manage EVP's To-Do's with the Labels
• Join meetings with label executives
• Organize and track EVP's to-dos from those meetings
• Connect the dots with the broader eCommerce team to make sure we follow through with those to-dos, i.e. Republic Field Trip to Philly or Branding work for IGA that the EVP is working directly on with label executives

Business Development
• Work with the Team to Manage a Library of Case Studies and Portfolio Pieces for Biz Dev / Artist Pitch Convos
• Join Artist Pitch Conversations to help support EVP and Bravado
• Manage the follow ups required to win the business
• Join new partner, vendor, and other important conversations to help manage follow ups, etc.
• Join new partner, vendor, and other important meetings in LA with Ashley Nichols, on behalf of the EVP
• Assist in researching and pursuing new potential business opportunities, partners, and vendors
• Represent Fame House at label events in LA

Critical Activities
• Coordinate closely with the EVP, and the Executive Leadership Team, as well as cross-functional teams
• Create connective tissue by working with, and sharing knowledge among various functions within the eCommerce Department and cross functionally with partners and labels
• Engage with and solicit input from stakeholders across the organization o Conduct post-mortems to learn from successes and opportunities
• Advise on future implementation strategies, and suggest organizational efficiencies/improved ways of working (internally, and with other UMG functions i.e. the labels)
• Being focused and organized while exhibiting attention to detail, and strong communication skills are critical to being successful in this role

Salary Range:
$64,480 - $196,951

The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
