Senior Workday Analyst, People Systems

As a member of UMG's People Systems team, the Senior Analyst, People Systems will support the overall health of HR Systems at UMG through system issue tracking and cross-functional alignment with a particular focus on working with UMG's IT organization on cross-functional projects and initiatives. Providing the technical business support and expertise for leveraging Workday and other technologies to enable HR processes and automation across the globe.

How you'll CREATE:
• Work directly with HR, IT and business stakeholders to understand requirements, identify gaps and risks, suggest alternatives, advise on best practices, facilitate discussions and drive requirements to sign-off
• Understand dependencies across Workday modules (Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll and Benefits) and integrations with other systems
• Architect solutions including configuration, integrations, security, testing and implementation of new features and functionalities, managing cross-functional impact
• Develop and implement scalable, flexible solutions that are extensible to future business needs
• Partner with Integration Lead on the development and support of Workday integrations (internal & external)
• Ensures that all deliverables are completed in accordance with Project Management methodologies; clearly and frequently communicating project status
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of the project roadmap for the People Systems team
• Support activities and requests related to quarterly and annual ITGC and related compliance audits
• Continuously researches new capability areas within Workday, work with functional SMEs to vet against current business gaps and how the gaps can be remediated

• Deep understanding of architectural concepts, issues, and trends in the HR solutions area covering hire-to-retire business capabilities
• Must have strong consulting skills to effectively capture stakeholders' needs and be able to translate needs into system functionality
• Comfortable with leading multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize decisions and tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must exhibit a strong process management and business orientation skills
• Must be a team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
• Must demonstrate intellectual curiosity
• 3+ years configuration and support experience with Workday HCM, Security, and Reporting; project management or integration experience, a plus
• Experience supporting a global organization, strongly preferred
• S. in Computer Science, Engineering, HR-related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.
