How you'll CREATE:

The Talent Acquisition Relationship Manager (''Recruiting Manager'') will drive and execute the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy for all center/corporate recruitment at UMG (US), manage day-to-day talent operations of 3-5 talent acquisition team members, and manage full cycle recruitment of select VP+ level roles. This role requires strategic, hands-on, and innovative leadership to drive the attraction, engagement, and acquisition of complex, in-demand talent for a variety of corporate positions across UMG, while maintaining a commitment to diversity hiring outcomes, and using data insights and trends to drive business decisions.
• Hybrid position operating as both, a people manager managing a team of talent acquisition professionals and managing the full cycle recruitment of select VP + level roles – primarily across the business center/corporate functions (i.e., Finance, Legal, Operations)
• Partner with the Head of Talent Acquisition, peer Talent Acquisition Relationship Manager, and senior leaders to develop strategic hiring plans focusing on current and future needs that attract and retain the necessary talent to drive the organization forward
• Foster a strong recruiting culture through consulting with the business on talent needs and building relationships with business leaders, key stakeholders and the People, Inclusion & Culture Business Partner team
• Ability to build partnerships with key business stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage smarter decision-making across our organization
• Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions and how to apply this appropriately to diverse situations
• Build a data-driven recruiting organization by utilizing metrics to drive recruiter performance
• Develop innovative strategy for Talent Acquisition, in close partnership with TA leadership, and oversee projects to deliver on TA roadmap initiatives
• Partner for delivery of new processes, tools, and systems to support the recruiting team, hiring managers, and business leaders across the company
• Collaborate with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion partners to support diversity recruitment initiatives, including events, outreach, and ERG partnerships
• Advance the use of scalable recruiting and hiring analytics, reporting, and dashboards to improve shared understanding and continuous improvement of talent pipelines, and hiring KPIs
• Help identify and test new recruiting technology and tools to advance our offerings to our candidates, recruiters, and internal clients, as well as improving key success measures

Bring your VIBE:
• Minimum 7 years of Talent Acquisition experience, including 3+ years of recent people management experience
• Recent experience managing full cycle recruitment for senior level roles
• Demonstrates the capabilities of a modern, progressive and innovative talent acquisition professional
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a talent acquisition team, as well as developing strong stakeholder, client and candidate relationships
• Demonstrated ability to champion significant projects, programs, and business initiatives using creativity and ingenuity
• Proven ability to lead and organize multi-disciplinary projects and initiatives in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems, determine how to solve problems, evaluate alternatives, provide implications and recommendations, assess risk and make timely decisions
• Demonstrated success recruiting hard-to-find talent in competitive markets
• Strong project management and organization skills
• Attention to detail, while able to keep the big picture in mind, and a strong sense of logic
• Extensive understanding of the organization's business operations and industry
• Knowledge and experience of recruitment technology including automation and/or integration to wider TA tools
• Individual will be based out of our Santa Monica, CA office (headquarters) and physically in the office 3+ days a week

$96,000 - $210,000

The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
