Job Description

As a member of UMG's People Systems team, the Manager, People Systems (Workday Advanced Compensation) will ensure all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated. Have deep knowledge of business processes, security frameworks, integration data, reporting and analytics.

How you'll CREATE:
• Lead and manage Workday HCM initiatives.
• Focus on Workday Core HCM and Compensation functionality, configuration and support.
• Architect solutions including configuration, security, testing and implementation of new features and functionalities, managing cross-functional impact.
• Understand dependencies across Workday modules (Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll and Benefits) and integrations with other systems.
• Work directly with HR, IT and business stakeholders to understand requirements, identify gaps and risks, suggest alternatives, advise on best practices, facilitate discussions and drive requirements to sign-off.
• Develop and implement scalable, flexible solutions that are extensible to future business needs.
• Continuously research new capability areas within Workday, work with functional SMEs to vet against current business gaps and how the gaps can be remediated.
• Actively participate in both the creation & execution of the short- and long-term global Workday roadmap for UMG.

• Deep understanding of architectural concepts, issues, and trends in the HR solutions area covering hire-to-retire business capabilities.
• Experience with Workday HCM and Advanced Compensation, required (certification, a plus).
• Strong consulting skills are required to effectively capture stakeholders' needs and be able to translate needs into system functionality.
• Comfortable with leading multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize decisions and tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience working in a global Workday team is preferred.
• Must exhibit strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills, strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong process management and business orientation skills.
• Must be a team player and able to work effectively at all levels of UMG with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus.
• Must demonstrate intellectual curiosity.
• 5+ years configuration and support experience with Workday HCM, Security, and Reporting.
• B.S. or equivalent work experience, is required.

Salary Range:
$101,710 - $155,400

The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
