Job Description
UFC's Research and Development team is looking for a Technical Project Manager to help manage projects across its portfolio. The R&D team handles a wide range of projects, including software development, deploying television and computer hardware, custom hardware fabrication and business process improvement. You will work primarily across UFC, WWE, and occasional other properties.
We are looking for someone with experience in project management, strong professional communication skills, a positive outlook, and a technical background so they can quickly become expert in our projects across a variety of fields.
You will be a key player at both internal and external meetings, reporting directly to the heads of the R&D group and communicating with colleagues, management, and vendors as projects demand. The medium-term goal of this role is to have you progress to leading projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project risks, find solutions, and implement them.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership in a clear and concise manner.
• Facilitate project meetings and ensure action items are tracked and completed on time.
• Manage project scope and change requests to ensure project goals are met within budget and timeline constraints.
• Continuously improve project management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
You Have These
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least three (3) years of professional work experience as a technical project manager
• Strong, clear professional communication skills to guide project teams and coordinate with colleagues, vendors and management
• Creativity, resourcefulness, and ability to solve problems
• Comfortable in a collaborative and fast-paced work environment
• Software development experience preferred
• Knowledge of new and established project management software systems and the ability to train others preferred
• Organizational and time management skills to keep teams and projects on schedule
