The Role and What You'll Do:

The UFC is seeking a Production Manager to join our Emmy Award-winning production team in Las Vegas. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience as a production manager in a wide array of original programming and short form content for major sports and/or entertainment brands, across various media platforms. This position provides operational support and execution throughout the production process, for multiple, diverse projects simultaneously. This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative environment. We're looking for an organized, professional, production manager who is detail oriented, and always seeking innovative new approaches to their work.
• Functions as production manager for long-form programming, including full-length documentaries and episodic series, for linear television networks, media partners, and our own OTT service, UFC Fight Pass.
• Collaborates closely with showrunners and producers on various projects to ensure each project is executed to our high standard, while still maintaining budgetary constraints.
• Manages and advises on multiple show budgets simultaneously.
• Manages production schedule and calendar for each project.
• Responsible for vetting and hiring contractors and vendors, including negotiating fees to stay within show budgets.
• Maintains all administrative onboarding documentation, such as NDAs, PSAs, and financial intake forms.
• Works with the showrunner and production coordinator to plan and execute all pre-production for live action filming logistics, including budgetary projections, crewing, location scouting, securing filming permissions and releases, assigning PA duties ,liaising with talent, regulating onsite safety guidelines, and distributing call sheets.
• Works with risk management team on COIs for each project.
• Wraps out each project, including tracking and processing all invoices and expenses, reconciling each project's budget, archiving all correspondence, and completing a Production Report.
• Facilitates effective communications among business units and with external parties (media partners, corporate sponsors, production vendors, etc.).

You Have These:
• Minimum 5 years professional experience as a Production Manager for major media brands.
• Demonstrable, relevant experience creating and producing compelling programming of various genres, formats and lengths, for all media platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Broadcasting, Radio/TV/Film, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in clerical programs such as Microsoft Office and Outlook, and project management programs such as Monday.com.
• Solutions oriented and ability to solve problems quickly.
• Experience hiring and onboarding crew is required.
• Experience liaising with talent is required.
• Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Experience in a sports environment is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of MMA is a plus.
