Job Title: UI Artist
**Note**: Final Designation/Level will be decided based on the relevant experience and interview ratings.

Job Summary:

As a User Interface Artist at Ubisoft, you will be working closely with the Art Director and design team to establishing the look and feel of the User Interface for our games. In collaboration with the UX ,Design and Programming teams, you will be responsible for conceiving, prototyping, producing, as well as implementing them into the game.

Job Responsibilities:
• 3+ years of game development experience. 
• Collaborate with Game, UX Designers to understand UI, menu, icon requirement, in line with the creative vision 
• Creating 2D assets, UI, screens, and textures for production
• Creating 2D sprite animation, simple animation in After effects
• Participate in the creation, documentation and tuning of UI art according to the creative vision of the project and support UX needs as required
• Autonomously execute and prepare the necessary graphic assets for the product's menus and/or heads up display;
• Ensure a smooth implementation matching the intention, by yourself or with the assistance of the Programming team;
• Maintain quality, efficiency and consistency across your work.
• Communicate vertically and horizontally within the team in a clear and professional manner 

The professional value you bring:
• Video-gaming culture and interest in video-games development;
• Previous experience in a graphic design, UI role
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design tools;
• Good Artistic skills (proportion, composition, color);
• A keen eye for usability and clarity;
• Algorithmic thinking and interest in the implementation aspect of the User Interface;
• Up-to-date with the current design and typographical trends;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

Nice to have:
• Good understanding of 2D and 3D design tools (such as Sketchup, Maya, 3DSMax..etc
• Relevant experience with any Game Editors will be taken into account;
• ActionScript, HTML or JavaScript knowledge is considered a plus;
• Proficiency with any Node-Based software is appreciated.
