Job Description

The Supply Chain Coordinator oversees the sourcing and delivery of our global supplies. You work together with internal stakeholders to sign and understand the needs they have. With our external partners like vendors, OEM's and 3PL providers you make sure that these needs are fulfilled. That way you make sure we have the right materials at the right place at the right time. Your main responsibility is to manage our global logistic network and develop a strategy that supports our continuous growth. You coordinate a lot of different processes at the same time and are invited to improve on them where you see fit. We are looking for a temporary Supply Chain Coordinator for a period of max 7 months.

Work environment

Supply Chain Management is an independent group within operations and reports to our Manager of Service. We are looking to grow the team to a total of 3 colleagues who are based in Rotterdam.

Working during the pandemic is a challenge, but we can proudly say we have met that challenge head-on. Despite the distance, we can collaborate, bond, and get you settled. You'll also have the freedom to structure your days, work times, and environment. If you feel safer working from home, take advantage of our budget for your home office equipment. Alternatively, feel free to use our Rotterdam office, including the fully equipped gym, kitchen, and gaming room (whilst complying with social distancing measures, of course).

Your responsibilities
• Plan and implement overall supply chain management
• Managing shipments of goods to the right location in-time
• Collaborate with all the teams in need of SCM
• Determine key KPI's
• Build and maintain relationship with suppliers and logistical partners
• (Re-)Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers and logistical partners
• Prepare purchases for future needs
• Optimize costs by reviewing expenses on regular basis
• Clear communication about shipping expectations to the teams, including upfront predictability where possible
• Support the company future growth

Qualifications

Your skills
• Finished an HBO+ or Bachelor study on SCM or similar
• Proven experience with global logistics is preferred
• Understanding business functions such as HR, Finance, Sales
• Great negotiation skills
• Creative in problem resolving, problem-solving mindset
• Flexible and able to cope with ever-changing conditions
• Knowledge of IT/Business and IT software
• Openminded and good communication skills to customers and vendors
• Team player
• Good time-management skills and process-oriented (a to z)
• Sense of ownership
