Job Description
As a Senior Weapon Artist at Ubisoft Ukraine, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality 3D assets for weapons in Rainbow Six Siege. You will play a key role in shaping the look and feel of the game's arsenal, collaborating with Concept Artists, Game Designers, Programmers, and Animators to ensure the highest level of integration, functionality, and visual quality. Your expertise in 3D modeling, texturing, and asset optimization will directly contribute to the player experience, making each weapon feel impactful and visually stunning.

Responsibilities
• Create visually and technically polished 3D assets that align with the game's visual direction
• Work under the guidance of the Lead artist and collaborate effectively with other Weapon artists across the team
• Participate in regular art reviews and incorporate feedback to improve asset quality and consistency
• Understand project limitations, milestones, risks, and adapt your work accordingly
• Maintain and improve project documentation to support team workflows
Qualifications
• Extensive experience in 3D art production with demonstrated expertise in real-time weapon asset creation in a game studio or on video game projects
• Strong knowledge of CAD modeling Plasticity/Fusion 360
• Strong knowledge of 3DSMax/Maya/Blender, ZBrush, and Substance Painter
• Strong knowledge of real-time modeling techniques (PBR Workflow, Baking, UV Optimization, etc.)
• Solid portfolio showing 3D art skills and demonstrating a high level of artistic creativity
• Experience with both organic and hard-surface assets
• Proven experience in weapon modeling, working on military or tactical equipment assets
• Understanding of the videogame pipeline including modeling, texturing, shading, and in-game setup
• Good communication skills, with at least Intermediate level of English
Nice to have:
• Experience with additional software tools like Marvelous Designer, Substance Designer, Houdini
• Familiarity with tactical shooters and the Rainbow Six franchise
• Understanding of e-sports visual requirements and constraint
