Job Description

Responsibilities
• Works closely with the audio team in all game audio aspects from early design to final mix.
• Create, edit, mix, and maintain audio assets of the game.
• Integrate audio in both linear and interactive forms using Audio engine or other proprietary software.
• Test, debug and assure the functionality of sound in a given game feature.
• Maintain asset documentation, sound effects libraries, and assist with equipment upkeep.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in digital and analog audio production/engineering or equivalent
• Background in audio engineering with a solid understanding of signal processing, 3D positional audio and mastering.
• Knowledge on industry standard DAW (Protools, Nuendo, Reaper, etc.)
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to comprehend fast phase and complex game environments.
• Self-driven, team player and willingness to learn.
• Must be motivated and passionate about sound design and implementation.

Pluses:
• Strong Gameplay instincts
• Knowledge of at least one current game audio engine (Wwise, FMOD, XACT, etc
• Studio experience (dialogue, music recording)
• Foley/ Field recording experience
• Media/Audio background a plus (relevant experience in Film/TV, Commercials, mobile/video games)
