Job Description

Your role

As a Junior 3D Animator you will contribute to the development of the animations using the characters and objects to construct the animated scenes of the game. Always improving with the interest of the team and project in mind.
*Please, note that our Studio is based in Sofia and in terms of our hybrid model of work, working within the Bulgarian boundaries would be required.

Your daily adventure

GET TO KNOW THE GAME DESIGN DOCUMENTATION

In order to know the list of characters and take an inventory of their actions with taking particular attention to their personalities and movements

USE 3D MODELS AND RIGS CREATED BY THE CHARACTER MODELLERS

To develop animations which respond to the chosen style

COLLABORATE EFFECTIVELY WITH THE PROGRAMMING TEAMS

To know the game engine possibilities better in order to achieve the best animations possible while respecting the technical restraints

RESPECT THE SCHEDULE AND THE PRIORITIES ESTABLISHED BY THE LEAD

In order to comply with the animation requirements of the game

DEBUG ANIMATIONS

By fixing potential issues such as weight perception problems or discontinuity of movement

DOCUMENT YOUR WORK

By archiving regularly and keeping the documentation always up to date

ADAPT TO CHANGES

And learn new technologies quickly

Qualifications

Your skills

KNOWLEDGE

High level of computer literacy

Good understanding of movement in space

Knowledge of the human anatomy, physiological reactions, body language and proportions in character concepts in order to express character emotions through movement

Inclined to learn about the game development needs in terms of gameplay animations: gameplay systems, state machines and graphs

ATTENTION TO DETAIL

And precision

ADAPTABILITY

Ability to adapt to changes and produce fast iterations based on feedback

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Collaborate effectively with other team members

Ability to receive, seek and provide constructive feedback

Good level of English
