Job Description

Snowdrop is a powerful game engine that enables Ubisoft content creators to set their creative minds free. Fast and flexible, Snowdrop gives developers innovative tools designed from the ground up for creating the unknown. Snowdrop provides the perfect canvas for game developers to paint the games of the future.

As a Graphics Programmer you will work in close collaboration with other programmers, designers, artists and testers to craft high quality, scalable solutions that bring Snowdrop and its various titles to an even higher visual and performance standard. Example systems that the graphics team is working on include game specific rendering effects, our node graph-based CPU/GPU particle system, the Destruction Tech, the post effect pipeline and various systems to render Weather, Terrain, Water and Vegetation.

Your role will be pivotal in implementing and refining core render systems, ensuring our games shine across multiple platforms, from PC to Xbox Series S/X, PS5, and streaming services. From game-specific rendering effects to revolutionary particle systems and beyond, you'll have the chance to tackle complex challenges head-on, unleashing your creativity to overcome technical limitations.

We're offering a permanent position in Malmö, Sweden, with the flexibility to work partially from home (up to two days a week) under our Flexible Workplace Policy. Please apply using English, our company's primary language.

• Professional experience in C++ programming within the video games industry, with a focus on consoles preferred
• Proficiency in graphics APIs such as DirectX 11/12 and Vulkan, along with shader languages
• Strong grasp of 3D mathematics, rendering algorithms, and data structures
• Experience with GPU performance analysis and optimization tools
• Passion for pushing the boundaries of computer graphics and solving complex problems
