As our new Financial Planning Analyst (f/m/d) at Ubisoft Düsseldorf, you will have the opportunity to gain international experience within the video games industry while providing meaningful insights to the management of global productions.
You will manage and drive improvements in the financial performance of Ubisoft Blue Byte and related business units, and ultimately Ubisoft globally, by guiding forecasting and analyzing financial data to support the studio management's decision-making process.
What you will do:
• Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for Admin Departments.
• Collaborate with members of the Planning and Analytics department (cross-country, cross-function).
• Analyze and present operational Balance Scorecard KPIs to management, leveraging data visualization tools.
• Act as an educator for budget owners regarding cost management.
• Support monthly intercompany billing flow in collaboration with Accounting teams.
• Escalate autonomously financial issues to management, monitoring existing financial controlling processes.
• Create variance analysis reports and financial models aligned with Ubisoft data standards, and present them to Management.
• Track governmental subsidies in collaboration with our Business Development team.
• Support internal control processes and reporting with HQ.
Qualifications
What you bring:
• Degree in Economics or Business (University, FH, BA) with a focus on Finance, Controlling, or Accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Controlling department within an internationally operating company.
• High degree of self-motivation, initiative, and ability to drive change.
• Strong communication skills and confidence in daily correspondence.
• Ability to handle complex data models and quickly learn new tools.
• Excellent German language skills to understand guidelines from governmental authorities.
• Experience with financial analysis, HGB, and IFRS.
• Advanced Power BI and Excel skills; comfortable working with SQL.
